Australian Students:

  • Completion of Australian High School Year 12 or equivalent and must be 18 years of age.
  • Mature age entry (aged 21 or over) with relevant work experience or completion of relevant training.

Additional qualifications and pathways:

All students who complete this program may be eligible to articulate into the William Blue Bachelor of Business program or the La Trobe University Bachelor of Business (Tourism and Hospitality). Yes, all William Blue qualifications are recognised within the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) and governed by ASQA, the national regulator. In addition, William Blue’s close industry links ensure that your William Blue qualification is highly respected within the hospitality industry.

Industry relevance is at the core of everything we do at William Blue. We think that industry experience is so important that the Industry Placement Program is a compulsory part of the Advanced Diploma of Hospitality (Event Management Pathway). No one gets the practical experience they need by sitting in a classroom all day. That’s why we partner with the best in the business for the William Blue Industry Placement Program. Some of the organisations that we place students with include The Star, Hamilton Island, InterContinental Hotels Group and• Shangri-La Hotel.

William Blue’s advanced diploma courses are eligible for VET FEE-HELP assistance. High School students currently in Year 12 students may apply for a William Blue Scholarship.

The William Blue campus is located in North Sydney, just a few minutes from central Sydney across the famous Harbour Bridge. The address is: Northpoint Campus, 171 Pacific Highway, North Sydney, 2060, NSW Australia. The campus is a few minutes walk from the North Sydney train station and bus terminal.

If you have previously studied or worked in hospitality, you may be eligible to receive a subject exemption that can potentially shorten the length of your William Blue diploma. Read more about course credits.
