International Centre of Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Education (THE-ICE). Accredited to meet THE-ICE Standards of Excellence. The International Centre of Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Education (THE-ICE) was established in 2004 as an Australian government initiative to recognise, develop, promote and support outstanding capability in this field of education.

For the members, THE-ICE delivers a marque of excellence, a network of institutions to collaborate with, confidential industry briefings and visiting scholars, meaning that William Blue is connected to, and recognised amongst the leading colleges in this field in Australia.

For international institutions, governments, tourism organisations and industry, THE-ICE provides a collaborative network of like-minded people who value excellence in tourism and hospitality education.

The AHA (NSW) is a political lobby group seeking change for the benefit of the hotel industry. The Association builds its strength by maintaining:

AAHS

AAHS - The Association of Australian Hotel Schools The Australian Association of Hotel Schools (AAHS) brings together 11 of the country's leading private hospitality, tourism and event management educational institutions.

AAHS' aim is to develop and maintain national standards of excellence in hospitality, tourism and event management education and promoting the industry as a career of choice. AAHS members work together to achieve mutual benefits in regards to:

  • consistency in training and academic standards;
  • promoting Australia as a destination for international students;
  • working with industry and governments to raise the overall level of commitment and support for quality education and training; and,
  • ensuring government policies are fair to all.
